During Ambassador Quinn's career, he has, at various times, been involved in events and issues that have received significant attention in the press or in books or articles. These range from searching for live American prisoners of war in Vietnam, to an espionage case, to the evacuation of Saigon as the Vietnam War was coming to an end.
