Ambassador Quinn writes an article on the Morrill Act from 1862 and the celebration that was held in 2012, giving an overview of his remarks as he presented the World Food Prize Norman Borlaug Medallion. This was presented to the land-grant institutions that helped create the "single greatest period of food production and hunger reduction in all human history."
