Ambassador Quinn writes about the 1996 Olympics and Cambodia's young 12 year-old swimmer. He begins the article by sharing how involved his family was with swimming, and especially the Olympics. Ambassador Quinn and his family were looking forward to the 1996 Olympics, and were deeply moved by a young Cambodian swimmer, despite her finishing last, they viewed it as a victory.
