White House Champion of Change Award

Ambassador Quinn was invited to the White House to receive the Champion of Change award, which was presented to individuals devoted to fighting food insecurity around the world. U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Kathleen Merrigan praised the eleven individuals being honored with this award, saying,  “We applaud the Champions for their efforts to empower families and communities and to reduce the depth and severity of hunger around the world.” This award was presented in a ceremony at the Old Executive Office building in Washington, D.C., which also included a symposium at which Ambassador Quinn made a presentation.
