Ambassador Quinn accepted this award on behalf of the World Food Prize for the Foundation’s exceptional leadership in providing educational opportunities for diverse groups within the Greater Des Moines community. This award, presented by the Friends of Civil Rights in Iowa organization, is named in honor of civil rights activist Elizabeth Kruidenier.
