Ambassador Quinn served at the State Department from 1990-1992 as part of President George H.W. Bush's Foreign Policy Team, which achieved notable breakthrough successes in IndoChina. In 2000, now heading the World Food Prize Foundation, Ambassador Quinn and an opportunity to meet with and chat briefly with now former President Bush at the Greater Des Moines Partnership Dinner at which the President gave a keynote address. Ambassador Quinn counts his experience as part of the Bush Foreign Policy Team as among his most meaningful Foreign Policy experiences during his diplomatic career.
