Ambassador Quinn paid an official visit to the ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics) Research Center in Hyderabad, India, where he was hosted by Director General William Dar. His visit included planting a tree on the research campus. Each year the World Food Prize sends two Borlaug-Ruan International Interns to work at this CGIAR Center.
