2012 Laureate Announcement with Secretary Hillary Clinton

Ambassador Kenneth Quinn, President of the World Food Prize, announces the name of Dr. Daniel Hillel of Israel as the 2012 World Food Prize Laureate in a ceremony presided over by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The event took place in the Benjamin Franklin room on the eighth floor of the U.S. State Department. Also in attendance were Former African Presidents Joaquim Chissano of Mozambique, and John A. Kufuor of Ghana. Representatives Leonard Boswell and Jim Leach also were present.
