Special Recognition in Rwanda 2019

In February 2019, as part of his receiving the AEGIS Trust Award for Distinguished Service to Humanity, Ambassador Quinn was honored at a special event in Kigali, Rwanda. Rwanda had experienced a tragic genocide in the 1990s similar to the Cambodian genocide. Ambassador Quinn was honored for his special role in confronting the Cambodian genocide. The award presentation was made by Rwanda Minister of Agriculture, Gérardine Mukeshimana, a genocide survivor and was hosted by Dr. James Smith, the founder of the AEGIS Trust.
