Amidst Terrorists Threats, the Near Successful Attempt to Kill Amb. Quinn was Made by a Horse Named Sergeant

163/6/88

Even living with a daily terrorist threat that would keep him from ever traveling in the same car with his children, Amb. Quinn describes some lighter moments that could occur in such a circumstance. In one particular incident while he and his family are at a retreat in the mountain town of Baguio in the Philippines, a horse named “Sergeant” makes what appears to be a considered effort to throw Amb. Quinn off a mountain.
