In every assignment that Ambassador Quinn had during his three-decade-long diplomatic career as well as his 20 years at the World Food Prize Foundation, one of the recurring comments he received is about the number of interesting stories that he has accumulated. Some are dramatic life and death moments, others reflect the great cultural differences to be bridged when abroad, while the rest are humorous or heartwarming encounters. Given the very positive encouragement he received from so many friends, he prepared a video memoir which endeavors to record as many of these stories and encounters as possible. He hopes they will provide insight into the situations he encountered and perhaps some inspiration about the future.
