The Peace Prize from Slovakia

In September, Ambassador Quinn received a message informing him that the World Food Prize Foundation and he personally had been chosen by the International Peace Committee in Bratislava to receive the Peace Prize from Slovakia. This recognition is being bestowed for the implementation of the vision of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Norman Borlaug, the founder of the World Food Prize. Previous recipients of this award include Pope Francis, General Charles Gaulle, and President John F. Kennedy.
