In the summer of 1964, Ambassador Quinn was looking for a summer job when he heard about an opening as the director of a playground in Dubuque. He tells the story about a city wide softball tournament at the end of summer and the first baseman of Ambassador Quinn's team, Ginger Mikhalakis.
