In 2014, Ambassador Quinn traveled to Uganda to join the special program organized by the Sasakawa Foundation to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Norman Borlaug. Included was the Ambassador speaking at a seminar and taking part in a field visit to the Uganda National Agricultural Fair, the theme of which was "Take it to the famer," Dr. Borlaug's last words.
